I'm Kyle Makischuk.
I was born & raised in Toronto, Canada and now live in Los Angeles, CA.
My work focuses on translating companies visions & brand into their product, UX and web experiences. I love designing work that I’m proud of alongside people that are equally stoked.
Philosophically, I think that websites, software & hardware can be artful. My favorite projects find a healthy balance of solving people's problems and exploring how we can make the internet more artful.
Projects that I've worked on have been featured in Forbes, Rolling Stone, and Variety and awarded by the Webby's, Awwwards, and SiteInspire.

Can I see more work?
Always! Most of the additional work and process is under NDA, so I can show it on a request basis.

What's the review & jam cadence like?
As with process, every project and team will require a unique approach to meetings & reviews, but it's generally once every week with async updates and questions.

What's your process?
Every project requires a somewhat unique approach, but my design process usually follows; Definition -> Exploration -> Alignment -> Design -> Build -> Launch

How long do projects take?
I like to give projects the time they deserve based on how long I've taken on similar previous projects. For a simple website, it'll take about 4 weeks. For longer product engagements, they can take about 6 weeks for a key flow, a few months for a platform redesign or indefinite depending on your needs!

Do you offer other kinds of projects?
The packages are meant to be a starting point for my most common projects. If you're looking for something that's larger, smaller, or somewhere in between, let's hop on a call and find the right balance.
